#BACKTOSCHOOL - School Bag Essentials ft The Kate Spade Agenda

Hello guys, it's been a while. I've got a lot of hauls to share with you this September, but first I thought I'd share with you my schoolbag essentials. I don't go back to school until the last week in October, but since this is the #backtoschool season, this is the perfect time to upload this post. My bag is from H&M. I love how sturdy and spacious the bag is. It fits all my essentials perfectly.

These are the items I keep in my school bag.

iPhone - Need I say more ?

iPad - I have most of my textbooks on it and so I don't have to go around with a heavy backpack. For when I'm bored, I have lifestyle magazines, novels and movies. This is the perfect essential for me, as I'd rather have my iPad with me than my iPhone.

Central File - I use the central file to keep all my handouts, assignments, journals and law reports (I'm a Law Student). The file has a lot of pockets which is perfect to keep all my papers handy.

Kate Spade Agenda - This planner runs from August till December 2016, and is thus perfect for my school year which is October 2015 - November 2016. I use the planner to keep track of my blog posts, assignments, events and responsibilities. (I'll talk more about the journal later in this post).

Notebook - I know some people prefer typing their notes on their laptop, but I'm old-fashioned in this regard as I find it faster and easier to just write out my notes.

Pencil Case - Yes! I have a pencil case. I actually go around with a good amount of stationeries and thus would rather not dig around in my bag for a pen or a glue. In my pencil case, I have pens, pencils, stapler, glue stick and highlighters.

Makeup Purse - This is also an essential as I have to touch up during the day due to my oily skin. So, I normally have in my purse, a powder, powder brush, lipstick of the day, wipes, tissues and hand sanitizer.

Wallet - This is also very important as I have in there my driver's license, School I.D, Debit Card and Cash.

So, that's what I carry around in my school bag. Now, on to a detailed look of my Kate Spade 2016 Journal.

This is the Kate Spade 17-month large agenda. I got this at Macy's, but I cant's seem to find it on their website and so the link refers you to the Kate Spade website. At first, I wanted to get the Bando Agenda, but I thought it too colourful and too fun, so it will look out of place in Law School. In Nigeria all Law students have a uniform of White and Black (we are nicknamed penguins!) and so this agenda matches my uniform perfectly.

This is the first page. On the front cover, there's a column for name and phone number. The agenda also has a pocket. This is for keeping memorable like movie stubs, events, concert tickets, etc.

The next page has the 2016 and the 2017 Calendar.

This page is for noting down memorable celebrations throughout the 2016 year.

The left page lists the holidays in America for 2016 and the dates. The right page is for Notes and this has about 10 dedicated pages.

This is an overview of September 2015, I already have upcoming events penned down.

At the side of the agenda are little bookmarks to help you note where a new month begins.

In all, I really like this agenda. his is one of the things you never realize you need until you purchase it. So, that's my school bag essentials, what else do you think I should have included? Laters x
