Mac Haul

Hello Guys! I have a Mac haul to share with you. All these I got while on holiday. If you remember in this post here, I shared why I don't own anything from Mac yet, well I now do.

I decided to splurge while on holiday because they were so much cheaper there than  here in Nigeria. I honestly still don't think Mac products are the best, but they are absolutely worth the money. I've noticed that many people complain about their customer service, but I think their staffs are quite friendly (I went into six different stores) and they patiently answered my questions. I'll start with the lipsticks I got.

This is a matte purple in the shade Heroine. This is a gorgeous colour on women with deeper skin tone. The lipstick can be quite drying after application, but it applies smoothly and it lasts all day.

This is the retro matte Ruby Woo. It's said to suit every skin tone due to the blue undertones of the lipstick. This lipstick can be quite difficult to apply and so I strongly advise not to reach for this when you're in a hurry. If not applied correctly it won't apply smoothly and will settle into the line of your lips. It is also very drying, but if applied properly, it is a gorgeous shade of red and I absolutely love it.

This is another matte lipstick in Smoked Purple (can you tell I prefer mattes?). On application, it looks like you mixed a black lipstick with Mac's Heroine. It's quite a bold colour, but looks good on every skin tone.

This is the Pro Longwear Concealer. I've heard so many good reviews about this concealer, but I'm not a fan of this new packaging. The concealer used to with a brush applicator, but now it comes with a pump. It's quite difficult to manage as if you're not careful, the concealer will splash everywhere. The product is of course fantastic, but the new packaging is a No No.

This is the Mineralize Skinfinish. It comes in a dome-like shape and it's absolutely gorgeous and applies so well as expected from Mac. I use this to set my foundation.

This is the Extra Dimension Eye shadow in Sweet Heat. I actually got this to use as a highlighter. It's perfect for those with deeper skin tone. Due to the packaging being quite small, it can be tricky to dip in the brush, but it's still worth it.
